Privacy
Short version: we keep what we need to run your account and boards. No ads. No tracking cookies. We do not sell your private boards.
What we collect, and why
- Account email, name and avatar. To sign you in and show who you are. Your name and avatar come from Google if you use Google sign-in.
- Google ID. Only if you sign in with Google. It links your Google login to your account.
- Your boards. To store and sync them. Private boards are visible only to you.
- Files you upload to a board. To show them on that board.
- IP addresses. Held briefly in server memory for rate limits (about an hour, gone on restart), and written to server logs for security and fixing problems.
Published boards
Published boards are public, and published boards are licensed as described in the Terms. Names and account info are stripped from licensed copies. Private boards are never included.
How long we keep it
- Account data and boards: until you delete them or your account.
- Sign-in sessions: 30 days, renewed while you use the site.
- Server logs: kept for a short time, then rotated away.
Cookies
One cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in. No advertising cookies, no analytics, no tracking.
Bark (voice to text)
Bark is opt-in. It runs on your device and its model is stored in your browser. Audio never leaves your device. If you turn it on, your browser downloads the model once.
AI features
AI features are off. Nothing you write is sent to an AI service by this site.
Who else handles data
- Hetzner (hosting): our server runs there.
- Google: for sign-in, if you choose Google.
We do not sell your personal data.
Your data
In Settings you can download all your data and delete your account. Deleting removes your account and boards from the site and from future use. It does not remove copies already licensed from published boards.
